  • A special, unique and moving episode, with similarities to "Hell and High Water"

The first think after this episode was - wow... They can make it again. The emotion what I had after "Hell and High Water" and now.. the way one char is focused and we go so deep inside her/his innerworld. The tragic setting, dilemmas and the neverending question - what is right and wrong.

This episode just leaves a mark behind. That kind of episodes I love.

It starts like another filler episode, with morning actions of Carol and in second moment we will find ourselves in the middle of the robbing, where Carol becomes the one trying to save the owner's and one of the robber's life. There is no way to describe the way the situation develops and the way she is getting more and more emotionally involved. She has not get over of her mistake what cost one homeless his life and he, Duncan, after killing the owner, seems to be having the same strugle. This is something very emotional, deep and touching and I think I cannot fully understand it as I have never been in position like that, but I can only imagine what she went trough there and how she someway, wanted Duncan to get away.

And the end... somehow so sure it will end like that, still shocking and moving. Magnificent episodemoreless

When I first watched this episode, I wasn't a big fan of it, but having seen it more, I've come to appreciate it. Every episode has his or her breakout episode, and this is Carol's. It was the best cliffhanger since "Hell and High Water." Carol was amazing in this episode, she does what she needs to do in an incredibly difficult situation. I love the way the episode is set up with the robbers coming into the store and the shootout. It's interesting how they don't make the robbers, particularly Duncan out to be bad people, just people who made mistakes. I really enjoy this episode, it's very well done and well acted. One complaint I have is taht in the DVD it shows that there is a deleted scene where Carol and Robert talk outside of her house and we find out what happens to him. I wish that scene would have been left in, it added a conclusion to the episode.moreless
