Sam: Why is it that we can talk about anything other than us?
Luka: I don't know.

Abby: Do you want to hear something stupid?
Jake: I'd love to.
Abby: I never imagined there were any families like this.

Jake: With 99% of the votes in, you're a keeper.
Abby: Who's holding out?
Jake: Aunt Cecilia. I think it was when you said you weren't sure if there was a heaven or hell.

Jerry: Two words, Pratt, voice mail.
Carter: What's all that?
Pratt: Friends of mine begging me to go to a party after a long 12 hour shift. That's the problem with the non-medical types, they don't get it.
Morris: Par-tay tonight at Ike's! The boss man is buying, but dont get used to it. Who's on board?
Carter: Sometimes the medical types don't get it.
Morris: Ray?
Ray: Uh, other plans.
Morris: Neela?
Neela: The Apprentice is on.

Morris: Excuse me everyone, I have an announcement to make... effective immediately, I am your new chief resident!
Pratt: (to Lewis)...this is a joke, right?
Susan: What? You didn't want it.

Sam: Why don't you just say it?
Luka: Say what?
Sam: You're mad.
Luka: I'm not.
Sam: Right. It didn't bother you one bit that I went over your head... See that's what I'm talking about.
Luka: What?
Sam: You won't tell me how you feel.
Luka: It's fine.
Sam: It's not fine, Luka. If it were fine, you wouldn't have avoided touching me when I squeezed past you just now.
Luka: What?!
Sam: You, you bury your feelings, you pretend that they're not there, that you don't have them.
Luka: I have feelings, but I don't need to share them every 5 seconds. And I don't need to share them here, OK?

Luka: So was it positive or negative?
Sam: ... Negative.
Luka: Were you going to say anything?
Sam: I was worried, I checked, I was wrong. What is there to say? What, you'd rather I was pregnant?
Luka: I'd rather you didn't keep secrets.
Sam: Yeah, that's funny coming from you.
Luka: What's that supposed to mean?
Sam: You've seen all of my dirty laundry. I barely know a thing about you.
Luka: That's not true.
Sam: You don't talk, Luka.
Luka: About what?
Sam: About anything. How am I supposed to know when you're being honest, when you don't talk.
Luka: About what? I'm not the one who lied about a pregnancy test.
Sam: I didn't lie.
Luka: Yeah, fine. You omitted.
Sam: Like you don't.
Luka: What? What do I omit?
Sam: Your past. Your family.
Luka: (sighs) I should check traffic.

Cory: Are you a musician?
Ray: Not tonight, man.

Susan: (to Carter) This is my home. This is where I started. This is where I want to stay. And half the time I get the feeling you'd rather be anywhere but here.

Susan: So forget excellence. Forget performance. Just write a check to fund a new wing.

Susan: Are you guys fighting? What, money? Sex? Communication?
Sam: The last one.

(talking about Kerry)
Jerry: She wants you in her office at 7 o'clock.
Susan: Okay. (pauses) Why so late?
Jerry: No life?

Morris: Whaddup, chief?
Susan: We need to talk. (leads Morris into the lounge)
Morris: If this is about that lady with the pap smear...
Susan: You're the new chief resident.

Carter: They really encouraged me to apply early.
Susan: Wow. They didn't encourage me to apply at all.

Morris: Isn't it Abby's turn to treat this guy?
Neela: Abby's at a family thing with Jake.
