This episode didn't do much dramtically or plotwise but amusing and funny all the same, it's as funny as the sports comidy films "Slap Shot" and "Shalin Soccer" yeah I know their wild comparasons but when you see this episode and watch these movies you'll understand.

This one was mainly funny in it's moments, from seeing the fact that Moondoggie even Eureka are just as good as Renton in the game. Most of the people on the Gekko state seem to be out of shape as well as Renton haveing some daft achilies heel which is the inability to pass the ball. Obviously because of threatened ego and we see Eureka give him tough love, which seems a little out of character for her but then again Eureka has done a lot of things I never thought she would do so it works and it's exactly what Renton needed.

All this comes down to the big game itself which well I wouldn't say it was a game it was more of a slaughter since the GekkoState team were all getting their butts kicked.

My favorate moment in this episode was when Holland, in some part of the game decides to step in to play and hopefully turn things around, which is a common cleche in most sports films. But unfortunately Holland is not that guy and fails along with his team miserably.

Though I'll say the game does end well in the end despite the result but it didn't really mater to me whether they won or not like in all sports movies and sports itself it's really about how you played the game that counts.moreless

    • Matthieu: Hey, Holland! How come you're not in the starting line up?
Talho: He's just that kind of guy.

    • Dewey: From the Coralian attack of our Capital, we lost two of the great foundations of our troubled world. They were killed by the Coralians whose existence they kept hidden. In a way, you could say they each got what they deserved. However... however, I had not wished for them to be murdered in cold blood! They - the Sages - should have apologized to all of us. Though, come to think of it now, they might have been agonized by the great regret that they were most certainly were feeling. Now I have been given a direct order by Coda, the sole remaining Sage of our world... to strike! To strike immediately and decisively! And so I ask again for the full deployment of the Ageha Squad! We shall attack deep into the heart of the Great Wall, where the Coralian base is located, and exterminate them from existence!!

    • Linck: Have fun, Mama!
      Maeter: Play good, Mom!
(Renton walks by and turns towards Eureka)
Eureka: I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to be so harsh.
      (Renton smiles weakly)
Eureka: Don't worry, Renton! I'll do my best to cover for you!

    • (Moondoggie scores a goal)
Gidget: Jeez! What the hell do you think you're doing, Renton?!
      Eureka: Renton, stop joking around.
