    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (2)

      • Fargo's bobblehead doll can be seen clearly on the desk in front of Senator Wen. Except, when Fargo handed over control to Alison/Beverly (in "Omega Girls") he removed his mug and bobblehead from the desk.

      • Nitpick: Jo is the Security Chief for the whole of Global Dynamics, why doesn't she know where Level Q is?

    • QUOTES (2)

      • Senator Wen: (to Dr. San Agustin) Well, uh, on that note, I'll let you get back to work.
Carter: Yeah, I should do the same.
Senator Wen: Oh, you are working.
(Jack turns to look at her over his shoulder)
Senator Wen: For me. Things will be heating up around here with the tighter deadlines. I'd appreciate your help with extra security.
Carter: Well, I'd love to, but, uh, I'm the town sheriff. So I have sheriffy things to do.
Senator Wen: That's politician speak for, "you have to."

      • Allison: (to Senator Wen) With all due respect, I believe that I should be reinstated.
Senator Wen: Allison. Your last MRI still showed slight variation from your pre-incident state.
Allison: Yes, but still within the parameters of normal brain activity.
        Senator Wen: Why the rush?
Allison: Because I'm fine. I've had multiple brain scans. My motor skills are perfectly fine.
Senator Wen: You didn't answer my question: why the rush?
        Allison: Then I don't understand.
Senator Wen: I think I do. To have your mind taken over; the violation, the loss of control. If it were me, I'd want my normal life back as soon as possible. I'd need it back.
        Allison: Yes, exactly.
Senator Wen: So what I need to ask you is, are you absolutely sure that you're 100% back to normal? Or do you just need to be?

      • International Episode Titles:
Czech Republic – "O mravencích a lidech" (About the Ants and Humans)

      • Healthy showing of Stargate actors:
Ellie Harvie (Dr. San Agustin) played Dr. Lindsey Novak in Stargate Atlantis and Stargate SG-1. Kavan Smith (Andy) played Major Lorne in Stargate Atlantis and Stargate SG-1. Peter Kelamis (Dr. Mark Timmons) played Dr. Adam Brody on Stargate Universe, and Ming-Na (Senator Wen) is also a Stargate Universe veteran as the IOA rep Camile Wray.

      • Featured Music:

"Car Wash" by Rose Royce (Larry Haberman pipes the 1976 disco / funk song into the isolation test room just prior to going to the water closet)

      • Special billing was given to Wil Wheaton (and) for this episode.

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • In the isolation test room Dr. Parrish calls Jo "Number 1." While her uniform does have the number one on it, this is also an in-joke. Wil Wheaton, who plays Dr. Parrish, spent three seasons on Star Trek: The Next Generation as Ensign Wesley Crusher hearing Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) call his first officer Commander William Riker (Jonathan Frakes) the same name.

      • Fargo: Okay, Sheriff. Let's blast these things, and go home!
This line is reminiscent of Han Solo's line from Star Wars. Solo said, "Let's blow this thing and go home" after saving Luke from being blasted by Darth Vader.
