absoulutley love this show. it is the best show that disnet has ever made. it might be old but it still has that hook to it. like the one where you watch one episode and you just want to keep watching more and more and more. all of the actors and actresses are perfect for all of the characters that they play in the show. i really love everything about the show. the characters, the story lines, and anything else you can think of to rate. it is absoultley my favorite show of all time on the disney channel.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (7)

    • Coach Tugnut's first name is identified in this episode as Terry. Louis also says the coach is 35 years old.

    • Continuity: Ren's bulletin board with her schedule posted on index cards which was featured in "Secrets and Spies" is seen in the background here.

    • It is not likely that the computer would be attached to the table so that it didn't fall when Louis flipped the table over, also the other stuff on the table stayed put as well.

    • Louis tempts Coach Tugnut with "jumbo-sized crinkly fries." But for the rest of the episode, they're referred to as "crinkle" fries.

Also, when Louis first pulls out the large cup of fries, none of them are visible sticking out over the top. But in the next shot, the cup is filled with fries which do stick out.

    • In this episode Coach Tugnut says that the woodshop teacher "lost another thumb." A few months later, though, the woodshop teacher Mr. Rupert appears in the episode "Almost Perfect"--with both thumbs intact.

    • When the mice were racing, every time the camera changed angles, the green ball went from first to near the back to first to near the back, etc., with the green ball winning eventually. Also, Louis turns over the table with the mice on it. Wouldn't the mice balls have hit the floor?

    • In the shot where Louis is going under the last laser, you can clearly see that his feet would have broken the beam. It's edited so that it cuts to the shot where he's getting up before he gets his feet under.

  • QUOTES (5)

  • NOTES (0)

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • The detention hall teacher Mr. Peters is similar to the character of Mr. Stiler, known as "Ditto," in the movie Teachers (1984), who was played by Royal Dano. In that movie he died sitting behind his desk, but there were a couple of class changes before anyone noticed it! Also, the girl chewing on her fingernails in detention is similar to the Allison character played by Ally Sheedy in the movie The Breakfast Club.

    • The scene where Louis slithers through a laser-beam maze seems to be a parody of a similar scene featuring Catherine Zeta-Jones in the movie Entrapment (1999).
