      • Louis: Okay Loomis, you win. We're cool? (puts hand out to shake) Oh man, you got a booger there, it's a real runner.
Loomis Freeman: What? (Feels around his nose)
Louis: Here let me help you with that....
(Louis goes to help, but grabs the ballon instead)
        Louis: What's up now Loomis!

      • Loomis Freeman: You smell purty!
Tawny: (surprised) You smell purty, too!

      • Monique: (at the dance with Ren and Ruby) OK boys, come and get us!

      • Monique: They (Ren and Travis) are cuter than two fluffy kittens on a ball of string!

    • NOTES (2)

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • The water balloon dropping on Ren's head is a reference to Brian Depalma's Carrie in 1976, as you can tell by the initial look on her face. Also, the gym is decorated like the gym from Carrie, stars and all.

      • Louis: It's a mockery! A sham, a flim-flam!

These lines, delivered by Louis as Principal Wexler is dragging him off to his office, are reminiscent of lines spoken by Woody Allen in his 1971 comedy Bananas. In that film, his character Feilding Mellish is on trial, and he says to the Court, "This trial is a travesty! It's a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a travesty of two mockeries of a sham!"
