Spring break is here. Louis is hurt when he realizes that Twitty wants to do something without Louis. Ren finds the perfect guy, just that he's not a 'guy guy' and Beans finds a new way of torturing people and making some money.
absoulutley love this show. it is the best show that disnet has ever made. it might be old but it still has that hook to it. like the one where you watch one episode and you just want to keep watching more and more and more. all of the actors and actresses are perfect for all of the characters that they play in the show. i really love everything about the show. the characters, the story lines, and anything else you can think of to rate. it is absoultley my favorite show of all time on the disney channel.moreless
this is one of my favorite episodes of Even Stevens because all of the cast sing a song called Surf's Up and it is really good. also i love the plot and the storyline of the episode. i really liked when louis carried his surf board into the shack and gave all of the beach bad luck. meanwhile Ren finds the perfect guy but there is one small thing that stands in the way... he is a mermaid or is he. Tom and Tawny build an awesome sand castle but Louis ruins it running to the beach. watch this great episode.moreless
Ren mistakes Gil for a merman because he's using a "uni-fin." But when she first sees him in the water, it looks like his "scales" extend further up his legs.
Edit
In 2007, Shia LaBeouf (who plays Louis Stevens) was later in a movie entitled Surf's Up.
Edit
The show ends with the a music-video version of an original song by A.J. Trauth (Twitty), "Dawn Patrol," sung by Christy Carlson Romano (Ren). This video had been shown previously on the Disney Channel as a promo for this episode.
Edit
During the scene when Twitty is in trouble after the first gigantic wave and Louis rushes across the beach with his surfboard to save him, the music, cinematography, and editing are all highly evocative of the syndicated hit TV show Baywatch (1989-2001), which included David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson among its stars.
