  • I love this episode and I thought Ren looked all that and a bag of chips in her cheerleading uniform and she have alot of good cheers and excellent moves. The rest of the squad was excellent too, and one who was in the air was fastastic. You go girl!moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • After Louis crashes at the pep rally, Twitty comes to his aid and removes the jetpack Louis is wearing. He holds it at both ends when he takes it off, including the end where the flames comes out, which would be way too hot to touch.

    • Louis sees Ms. Morgan and asks Twitty, "Who's she?" Twitty reacts rather disinterestedly, saying that she's just "some lady." Well, eighth grade boys don't often react that way when they first see a beautiful dark-haired woman in her twenties wearing a short skirt!

    • During one of the cheerleading routines, Ren is lifted up off the ground, despite the fact that she's the tallest girl on the squad. Normally, a smaller girl would be hoisted in the air.

  • QUOTES (7)

  • NOTES (4)

    • This is another reference to Shia LaBeouf playing mascots. He played the school mascot on Freaks and Geeks, he played a restaurant mascot in "Get a Job", in this episode he plays the wombat. And in Dumb and Dumberer he plays the school and restaurant mascot who's name is coincidentally named Lewis.

    • Louis is called a "jackass" by Tawny, one of the very rare times that even such a mild profanity has been heard on a Disney Channel show.

    • Uncredited character: Kenny, the mascot, who has some lines, but they are delivered with his mascot head still on.
Unseen character: Nurse Phil, who is referred to in several episodes but is never seen.
Also, Lefkowitz, the frizzy-haired, non-speaking kid who has appeared in several other episodes, is seen in the back row of Ren's algebra class.

    • When Louis comes out to fly the jet-pack in his mascot uniform, the music played is an imitation of the Rocky theme.

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • Louis: According to 'Romance for Boneheads,' I have the classic symptoms of a man in love.

This is a takeoff on the name of a series of popular self-help guides entitled (subject) For Dummies (for example: Computers for Dummies, Opera for Dummies, etc.) Another series of the time alomg the same lines: The Complete Idiot's Guide to...
