Evening at the Improv

Show Summary

Evening at the Improv was a comedy television series that aired from 1982 until 1996 on the A&E Network. The show was hosted by a variety of entertainment personalities such as Phyllis Diller, Michael McKean and Budd Friedman. It featured extended stage performances by notable comedians such as Andy Kaufman, Steven Wright, Ellen DeGeneres, Bill Hicks and Jim Carrey. Evening at the Improv also featured writers such as Robin Williams and Jerry Seinfeld. It was filmed on location at the famous Improv Comedy Club in Los Angeles.
