    • TRIVIA (2)

      • Apparently, this episode took place the same day as Unhappy Holidays' ending did. But when Ephram was talking to his dad about Delia's behavior, he says it was three months ago that Deilia said the bad word. However, if this episode really took place in November, rather than January, than it would have been just a few weeks since that particular incident with Delia.

      • At the Abbott family meeting in Edna and Irv's house a Catholic priest ends an opening prayer by saying Amen, pronouncing the "a" in "Amen" like the "a" in "father". This is the Protestant pronounciation of the word Amen. Catholics pronounce Amen with a long "a", like the "a" in the word "pay".

    • QUOTES (16)

      • Madison: (To Ephram) Okay, tell me what's bugging you 'cause no amount of pork can distract a guy from a making out session, especially when there's no chance we get caught.

      • Ephram: Isn't there some kind of law against dumping sperm in a natural forest?

      • Delia: You're forgetting something; I don't like you.

      • Rose to Harold: The only history of bad decisions in this family is yours.

      • Ephram: You're asking me to throw a dead guy's frozen spunk into a canyon?
        (Andy nods yes.)
        Ephram: That's cool.

      • Rose to Harold: You patronizing bastard.

      • Man: Are we excited?
Delia: Only if this bus takes me home.

      • Andy: Delia, when someone we love dies, it's okay to be sad about it for awhile. For as long as you need to be really. But you-you, just can't hang on to all the love that you used to give to that person.
        Delia: Why not?
Andy: Because--love's not worth a whole lot if you just keep it to yourself.

      • Andy: What about Mom?
Delia: If I like Linda, Mom will know and she'll be mad.
Andy: Why would Mom be mad?
Delia: Because she'll be jealous. You think Linda's beautiful. She's got red hair and she's a doctor, and Mom wasn't like that.

      • Andy: Honey, there will never be anyone who means as much to me as Mom did. Not anyone. Just like no one could ever take your place or Ephram's. That's the first thing you have to know.
        Delia: What's the second?
Andy: The second thing is that Mom would never be mad at you or me or anyone for liking someone else that wasn't her.
Delia: I don't know, she'd be pretty tough.

      • Rose: Let me tell you something Harold. This marriage will not survive if you keep undercutting me. Our daughter is tearing this family apart and you are so blind you can't even see it. I swear to God Harold, I will not go on living like this. I will not.

      • Delia to Andy: I'm not mad at you Dad, I just don't want her to be mad at me.
Andy to Delia: Well honey, Linda's not going to be mad at you.
        Delia: Not Linda--Mom.

      • Andy: Camping under the star, spending time with my number one girl.
Delia: Why, is Linda coming with us?

      • Rose: Are you seriously willing to lose your marriage?
        Harold: What?

      • Madison: Yeah, but here's the thing. You know, you can not be okay with it and still support his decision. And if you feel like you can talk to him about it, then you should. But if you can't, then talk to me, 'cuz chances are if you're feeling gloomy, I can do stuff to cheer you up.

      • Andy: I fixed things with Delia, so now all you have to worry about is my grating personality and utter lack of charm.

    • NOTES (3)

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Delia: (To Andy) Driving Miss Daisy Crazy?
        Andy: You wouldn't like that.

Driving Ms. Daisy Crazy is the title of a European pornographic movie.
