  • Trivia

    • In last season's episode where Bright's appendix burst, Dr. Abbott tells a story about his older sister Linda, and Andy remarks he'd like to meet her some day but when we see young Harold and Linda at the train station, it is obvious that Linda is smaller and younger.

  • Quotes

    • Bright: (to Amy) Do you think Colin would want to see you like this? Being a total drunk slut at some party.

    • Young Linda: If we jump on that train right now, we could go anywhere in the world.
Young Harry: No we couldn't. That train's bound for Denver and after Denver it can only travel the continental U.S.

    • Bright: (to Ephram) So you know what I was thinking... if there's all these college guys who are like totally hitting on high school girls, then there's probably a whole surplus of neglected college girls who want to hit on high school guys.

    • Bright: (about party) Ah, what the Hell?

    • Ephram: (to Guy who is flirting with Amy) Hey, Bro! I think the lady's like fifteen.

    • Linda: I have something for you too, Harry.
      Harold: You shouldn't have.
Linda: It's an instrument. They use it to call the flock home.
Harold: Yes, well that will be very useful when I've... lost all my sheep.

    • Ephram: What do you want?
Bright: Nothing, just to enjoy your company. You want my pudding?
Ephram: Alright, what's the favor Bright?
Bright: What are you talking about, what favor? Ok, it's about Amy.
      Ephram: No.
Bright: You don't even know what I was going to ask.
Ephram: It doesn't matter, the answer's no.
      Bright: Why?
Ephram: Because whatever is going on with your sister is your business, not mine. Whenever I try to make it my business, she gets mad.

    • Bright: (To Ephram) So you know what I was thinking... If there's all these college guys who are like totally hitting on high school girls, then there's probably a whole surplus of neglected college girls who want to hit on high school guys.

    • Andy: That was fatherly advice, wasn't it?
      Ephram: Not bad.
Andy: See, I really am getting better.
Ephram: Hey, Dad. One more thing... can I go to a frat party tonight?
      Andy: A frat party?
Ephram: Yes, there's going to be drinking, drugs, unprotected sex. I'll probably be the youngest person there. Besides, I don't want to go. I have to.
      Andy: Why?
Ephram: Because you just said that if I know something, I have to do something about it.
Andy: And so having said that, I'm all but forced to let you go to a party I never would have agreed to prior. Maybe you're getting better at this.

    • Laynie: You in?
Ephram: I try not to drink before 5th period.

    • Ephram: (To Laynie) I usually do 2 percent with my cornflakes.

    • Bright: Keep an eye on her. Not all the time. Just... when you're not busy being a loner geek with weird t-shirts.
Ephram: You want me to stalk your sister?
      Bright: You already do.

    • Irv: This thing you're doing with the stove. I don't understand.
Edna: I'm cooking for my children. Get over yourself.
Irv: But you don't cook. You don't even reheat.

    • Edna: Would you please pass the...?
      Irv: Shove it.

    • Bright: Mind if I sit here?
      Ephram: Only if you stay.

    • Laynie: (To Amy after she drinks alcoholo) Nice!
Ephram: (Ironically since he doesn't approve on the drinking) We're all so proud.

    • Ephram: (to Amy and Laynie) I love clothes! I'm all about clothes.

    • Andy: (to himself) I'm dead.

    • Bright: (to Ephram) What, do we have a date tonight or something?

    • Harold: (To bartender) Milk, 2 percent.
Edna: (To bartender) Give him a Jim Bean, straight up.

    • Amy: (to Bright) Colin would still be here if it wasn't for you.
