  • Now this is something really serious. Don't ever hide secrets especially to your loved ones because they really care for you.

Now this is something really serious. Don't ever hide secrets especially to your loved ones because they really care for you. One of the scenes that struck me most here is the part where Dr.Brown hid the secret that Amy is already taking birth pills well to save your job that would be good but for connections with other people nah it ain't good!!!!!
  • Hot & Funny

This episode was great for many reasons obviously, I was glad when Amy decided not to have sex with Tommy, that guy freaks me out. I have always wondered if they put shadow under his eyes or if it's just natural for him. Anyway Madison and Ephram finally consumate their love, which turned out to be a disaster (when they were on the couch) the part where Ephram got 'excited' too early was hilarious, I could not stop laughing. They don't have what music was in this episode on the WB website, does anybody know the name of the song that was playing in Ephram's car at the end? The one that is playing while they are hmm hmming? Anyway great episode, lots of plot development.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (5)

  • QUOTES (10)

    • Bright: She's achin' for some Brown lovin'. Dish it up and serve it hot my friend.

    • Delia: Are you two in a fight?
      Harold: Perpetually, child.

    • Edna: Don't give me crap and call it ice cream.

    • Dr. Brown: I know I'm the last person you want advice from right now, but don't be afraid to make sure that everything's right. You're never going to get this moment back.
Amy: I appreciate what you're saying, Dr. Brown, but... I had the right person in my life, and unfortunately, we ran out of time.

    • Bright: Dude, come on! She is signaling the pitch!
Ephram: Please don't use sports metaphors... I need to understand what you're saying.

    • Narrator Irv: For many years now, this sliver of dust-covered rock has served as a haven for the hope-filled and hormone-driven youth of our town. You won't find it on any map, but everyone knows exactly where it is. We call it The Point. On this uncharted piece of rock, many of Everwood's young people first discovered their capacity for passion, and sometimes for love. For them, the view from The Point will be forever etched in their hearts and minds -- a reminder of one special moment when everything changed.

    • Andy: Bad things can happen. And if you don't think I know that after losing my wife, you have no business being my friend, much less anything else. I know things can go wrong, which is exactly why I think it's worth the risk if I can feel this way again. So, no. If you want to break up with me you better find a better reason.

    • Andy: (to himself about Ephram) I'm gonna slap an ankle bracelet on him and put him on house arrest.

    • Delia: He talks to himself sometimes.
      Linda: Good to know.

    • Andy: Are you sleeping with her? ANSWER ME!
Ephram: No, I'm not sleeping with her. I'm not sleeping with her and I'm gonna be a virgin for the rest of my life, because that's just how my life is! When something is good, it turns bad, and when something's bad it just gets worse. Is that what you wanted to hear?

  • NOTES (2)

    • The title of this episode, No Sure Thing, is most likely a reference to the 1985 movie The Sure Thing directed by Rob Reiner.

    • Harold: (To Andy) ...(Bright) was on the couch watching Reba and fell asleep.

Reba is The WB's hit sitcom that airs on Friday nights at 8:00, and is currently in its third season.
