Goof: When Delia confronts Linda about her pills, she had just dumped a handful into her right hand. When she reaches to hold Delia's hand, it is suddenly empty.
Andy: Well contrary to proper belief, I am not interested in poaching their patients. You should be ashamed of yourself. In fact, all of you should. All right, come on, everybody out. Let's go. Everybody out. That's it. All of ya. Jumping ship on a good doctor. You outta be ashamed of yourselves. Go on. Out. Store's closed.
Linda: That's what you do, Harry. When someone comes after you, you argue. But when someone comes after someone you love, the minute you see blood, you go for the throat.
Harry: That's what you do for family. You fight, you go too far.
Bright: There's always something good on TV. It's been my motto since I was a little kid; I'm sticking to it.
Ephram: I used to have to skin like a hobbit's feet; nothing used to get to me.
Andy: We're gonna get through this. Together.
Andy: Well, contrary to proper belief, I am not interested in poaching their patients. You should be ashamed of yourself. In fact, all of you should. All right, come on, everybody out. Let's go. Everybody out. That's it. All of ya. Jumping ship on a good doctor. You outta be ashamed of yourselves. Go on. Out. Store's closed.
Amy: One thing I do know is whatever is going on in there is going to come out whether you like it or not. So, you might as well just say it on purpose and choose your words.
Ephram:You know, it's amazing how you do that.
Amy: Do what?
Ephram: (To Delia) Delia, go to your room.
Andy: (To Ephram) You can't send her to her room. That's my thing.
Ephram: (To Delia) Go.
Andy: I didn't do it for you, I did it because you were right.
Bright (To Amy and Ephram): Hmmm... sit here with the bitter twins or free internet porn. Excuse me. (Leaves)
Amy: (To Ephram) Hmm, bitter twins. He's getting funnier.

The drugs that can actually be seen at the very beginning of the episode, Efavirenz, Zidovudine, and Lamivudine, are real drugs that are actually used in HIV therapy.
Stephanie Niznik (Nina Feeney) does not appear in this episode even though she's credited.
Ephram: I sorta just sat there. I mean, everything I know about HIV comes from lectures from my dad or Dr. Drew.
A trusted source of information and advice for millions of young adults, Dr. Drew Pinsky has co-hosted the popular call-in radio show Loveline since 1987. In addition, he and co-host Adam Carolla appeared on MTV's Loveline from 1996 to 2000.
Linda: Remember that quote I showed you on my desk from The Lotus Sutra?
The Lotus Sutra, Lotus of the True Dharma", is one of the best-loved sacred texts of Mahayana Buddhism.
Ephram: ...That reminds me of Chicago, which reminds me of that episode of Samurai Jack where they've gotta stop the wind from blowing away those little blue guys ...
-Chicago's nickname is "The Windy City."
-Samurai Jack is a cartoon which tells the story of a great warrior displaced to the distant future by the evil shape-shifting wizard Aku.
Ephram: I used to have skin like a hobbit's feet-nothing used to get to me, but now ... You got any extra Zoloft lying around?
-A hobbit is an imaginary creature resembling a diminutive human being. The word was coined by J.R.R. Tolkien for his novels The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
-Zoloft is one of the Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) drugs used to treat depression.
