When i started watching this season and saw the promos of him in High School, i know it will be expected to get funnier that the last. Though season 1 remains my favourite, this season including this episode brought me back to the way i used to laugh about EHC. This episode will be noted as one of my favourite of the season so far, including the beginning of episode one when he was introduced to the bigger kids of high school. Tanya wearing a bra and sticking in into Julius's sock draw, Rochelle finding out and looking into a magazine with guns? Hhahahaah series classic lol. That man is stuck for life, lol i dont think i would want to marry a crazy woman like her hahahahah. But that subplot was funnier than the main plot with Chris and Doc's girlfriend plot.moreless

    "Mediocre"
Everybody Hates Chris continues to be on the verge of cancellation and episodes like this are doing the program no favors.

I enjoy Chris Rock's stand-up comedy but he was a little too overbearing here. No need to make a sarcastic response after every single line from a character. He should be used in the beginning, ending and maybe a few times between, but that's it. Having the constant narration belittles the actors actually on the program.

As far as those actors, they really did not say anything funny either. This whole storyline seemed very fillerish and I think the only time I laughed was when the Asian man called Chris "Lionel Richie".moreless

The main story here has to to do with Doc's new girlfriend. He turns over his store to her on the weekends, and she promptly turns Chris into her personal butler/gofer/slave. Chris doesn't exactly like this woman and cooks up a scheme to get rid of her. This gives us some funny moments, and Robin Givens does a wonderful job as Doc's not-so-sweet sweetheart. But the subplot is even funnier. Tonya, eager for attention from the boys at her school, steals a bra and stuffs it with tissue. The bra winds up in Julius's sock drawer, where Rochelle finds it. The way Rochelle reacts to this discovery is hilarious. This is one of the series' funniest episodes.moreless

    • Drew: I love Stacy. She came by today and brought me a pie. And if she was 13, I'd probably have to take her from you, Doc. Narrator: You'd have to get past R. Kelly first. Edit
