Julius tries to impress his succesful younger brother (Wayne Bray) with the perfect Thanksgiving dinner, but things don't go smoothly. First of all, this episode does a 24 parody on us. It displays a countdown timer, splits the screen and makes Julius assign everyone jobs like he's in the military. But before this can happen, he wakes everyone up at 5am to start preparing for the Thanksgiving meal. He even buys name brand foods to the other's dismay. Somehow everyone invites themselves over and even Doc arrives with Mac and Cheese when Chris burns his, due to the whole family falling asleep. This episode had many great gags and narrations and I hope this show continues to maintain its high standards.moreless

      Julius: Yeah. Why?
Kill Moves: It's just the way I like it!
Chris: (narrating) He wants that blackaroni, 'cause he's on that crackaroni.

    • Julius: Did Martin Luther King, Jr. take a break? Did Moses take a break? Did Gandhi take a break?
Chris: (narrating) He took a break from eatin'!

  • ALLUSIONS (3)

    • Uncle Louis: And you're the one running around here like The Galloping Gourmet
The Galloping Gourmet was a cooking show in the 1960s. It was named after the on-screen persona of the presenter, the then New Zealand-based chef Graham Kerr.

    • The crying Native American looking into Chris' classroom at the end of the episode is a parody of the "Crying Indian" public service announcement by Keep America Beautiful. In the PSA, a Native American sheds a tear after looking at a polluted river.

    • The announcement of when this episode takes place, a running clock, and the use of a split-screen are references to the hit Fox Network show, 24.
