    Chris's parents go out on a romantic date night (Witch made Chris's dad mad cause he was going to spend a lot of money.) so they leave Chris, Drew and Tonya with a baby sitter. But she leaves to get her baby in hence burning the dinner that Rochelle (Chris's Mom) had thrown in the oven. The sitter leaves to get some dinner. While she is gone the baby's dad shows up to take the baby back. Meanwhile Rochelle and Julius are held up at the restaurant. Later the baby sitter comes back then leaves again to get the baby back. After she leaves her mother comes. When the baby sitter comes back with the baby the mother and her get into a fight. Chris makes the mother leave with the baby and tries to cover up but ends up blurting it out later.moreless

    When Julius and Rochelle have a special 'date night' they hire a baby-sitter and go to a restaurant leading to food stamps, mix-ups, robberies and of course outstanding comedy when Rochelle knows one of the robbers. Then they have a nice chat while he's holding her at gunpoint. Chris is called upon to take charge when the babysitter leaves to buy food and get her baby back from Mario, the father. The rant at the end by Chris explaining everything to his parents after the babysitter lied is a classic moment that will leave you in hysterics that ends in the line from Rochelle: I'm gonna kick her ass. Hold my wig! (Rips off wig and advances on the babysitter off camera) Well done writers.moreless

    This is one of the best episodes so far in the series of Chris Rock’s “biography” with great scenes such as “what can happen in a minute” and one of the biggest plots regarding Julius’ money which is very funny, especially the parents’ reactions to the robbery and the coupons for the restaurant aswell as the thief actually answering and talking on the restaurant phone.



    The kids’ babysitter plot is also entertaining with great scenes throughout, especially the end with Chris blurting everything out after his mother states that they would use the babysitter next time – a thought that Chris could not stand understandably.



    Overall, this is yet another hilarious barrel of laughs with great jokes from both plots.moreless

    I loved this episode. What can I say? Comedic gold with everything going wrong for Chris. The ending was definitely the funniest moment, as Rochelle didn\\\'t get mad at Chris for a change. The subplot at the restaurant and the chit-chat between Rochelle and the robber was also damn funny. Great episode of this already great series.

  • Ted Lyde was very funny as the manager! It's a wonderful show. Black families have been waiting to be represented for a very long time. "Everyboby", makes it almost wirth the wait. Almost! Kudos to Ali LeRoi amd Chris Rock.moreless

    Ted Lyde was very funny as the manager! It's a wonderful show. Black families have been waiting to be represented for a very long time. "Everyboby", makes it almost wirth the wait. Almost. Good Times. Frank's Place. Link's. The Cosby Show, both NBC's and CBS's. (in fact everything Cosby has done for TV in his whole career) Everybody Hates Chris has already risen to the ranks of these productions and it's not even done with it's first season. Kudos to Ali LeRoi amd Chris Rock.moreless

    • Three's Company: Sitcom from the late 70's & early 80's. Somewhat groundbreaking in its uninhibited subject matter. The story revolved around Jack, Janet and Chrissy (though Chrissy's character was replaced a couple of times) Jack had to pretend he was gay so that the landlord would let him stay in the apartment with the two women since he wasn't married to either of them. And weekly merriment ensued in the form of wacky hijinx.
