After Julius and Rochelle raise the rent, Mr. Omar demands reparations and moves in with the family while his apartment is being repaired. While there, he begins to play blackjack with Drew and Tonya using real money. Meanwhile, Chris is assigned to do a book report and decides to watch the movie instead of reading the book as an easy way out. However, as he later learns from Greg, the movie he saw did not match the book assigned.moreless

As far as outlandish storylines go this has to be near the top, although it was handled slightly well. The teacher's lounge and FBI segments were a little too ridiculous, although I did like the Johnny Depp-looking guy's poem/stand-up act in the lounge.

There were some funny parts here, and some good gems from narrator Chris Rock, but the show just isn't what it once was. This was a step in the right direction but the show needs to revert back to its original format and stop trying to be a live-action version of Family Guy.

Julius and Mr. Omar stole the show again, although you can't discount the comedy from Ms. Morello.moreless

    • Intentional goof: When Ms. Riviera leaves the staffroom, her clothes are notably different, something Chris actually notices.

    ADD QUOTES
    • Topless Teacher: Does anyone know what these are? Chris: (narrating) Reason her husband cries?

    • Narrator: My English teacher was like a sleeping pill in a skirt.

    • Monk: So, what made you think of this, anyway, Chris? Chris: Well, I remembered that Jaws was a book before a movie, so I figured they made a movie out of The Invisible Man. Kill Moves: I wish they'd start makin' movies into books. Popcorn gettin' expensive.

    • Greg: Dude, the movie The Invisible Man has absolutely nothing to do with the book Invisible Man. I don't know what you wrote, but whatever it is, you better not let Ms. Rivera read it. Chris: (narrating) Too bad I didn't write that paper in invisible ink!
