An episode called "A Date for Peter" that does not exactly sound too thrilling, and this was not. As a show winds down the episodes are always phoned in and uneventful and this episode was not any different. Just completely phoned in, character based humor as they call it.

I also noticed that as the show progressed, Ray Romano became less and less involved in the main storylines. It felt like he had three or four lines tonight, and for a show titled Everybody Loves Raymond, he was almost a supporting character, and the show's title was not based on him.
  • A great use of guest stars make this final season installment of Everybody Loves Raymond great.

A Date for Peter is another great installment of Everybody Loves Raymond and proof that the series could still stay fresh in its last season. The episode made good use of guest stars with appearances by Amy\'s parents, Peter, Peggy, and Stefania. Robert\'s role in the episode was secondary, but the writers still came up with a few great lines from him. The bit with Marie fixing Debra\'s party food was a bit hackneyed, but parts of the episode made me laugh out loud- and that means its a good one!
