The cone of silence was a running gag on the spy spoof Get Smart It was a big plastic cone that the characters would use to have a private conversation, but it would never work correctly, constantly falling over or blowing up.
Ray: Hey, something smells good, and I don't mean just dinner! (hugs Debra)
Robert: (to Amy) Hey there, sweet pea, how about giving Daddy a little sugar?
Marie: Isn't this therapy wonderful? Frank's like a new man! It's like I'm cheating!
Debra: Ray, I was so proud of you going to therapy that I let you slide on everything this week, including me!
Debra: You tricked us into thinking you weren't pigs anymore, but you're worse than pigs. You're talking pigs who lie!
Marie: (to everyone about Frank) He's going to have therapy!
Frank: At first, I didn't think it would help, but I'm a new man! And I owe it all to Marie's Mouth!
(Frank is reading a paper on the track horses)
Frank: we gotta bet this horse. It's unbeatable! It's unstoppable.
Robert: Marie's Mouth
Ray: This is a sign!
Frank: How does he [Greenberg] do it? Put two couches together?
