      • Ally: Do you like my picture, Daddy?
Ray: Yeah, I do honey, I do.
Debra: Honey, how come you make Grandma and Grandpa look so scary?
Ally: That's not Grandma and Grandpa, those are Halloween monsters!

      • Frank: How often is my son on TV?
Robert: I was on TV when we busted John Gotti.
Marie: Yes, but you didn't have any lines, dear.

      • Frank: (to Ray) I could have ate a box of Alpha-Bits and crapped a better interview.

    • NOTES (2)

      • Beginning this season there has been a significant alteration made to the main set. In Season One, the front door in Ray and Debra's living room was right at the bottom of the stairs and the large front window was on the audience side of the door. Now the window is at the bottom of the stairs and the door is where the window used to be. The set was likely changed so that people entering the house would be on the audience side of cast members receiving them. As it was, staging such scenes would have been awkward. This configuration is also more useful for scenes such as Season Four's "Alone Time" wherein Ray spies on Debra through the front window. It's ironic that neither configuration, especially when you include the small window on the first stair landing, has ever matched the exterior view of the house.

The living room wallpaper has also been changed from a diamond pattern to the familiar vertically-striped design that remains for the rest of the series. This new design figures prominently in Season Five's "The Wallpaper".

In Frank and Marie's kitchen a minor change can be noted. The large wooden fork and spoon which were very dark and about three feet long, have been replaced with lighter colored wooden utensils about half the length of the originals. This fork and spoon figure in the Season Seven episode "Baggage".

      • The new title sequence goes as follows: Ray gives a speech similar to the title sequence of the first season, while sitting in front of the house on a lawn chair, as each family member hovers above his head as they mention them.
