      • Debra: (when the kids are playing with her makeup) Whoa, whoa, whoa. What are you doing? What are you doing?
        Michael: I don't know.
Debra: Is that my new lipstick? Give me that! You kids go upstairs and wash your faces! (the kids run upstairs screaming loudly) Hey, you know, we don't have to have this cowboy party on Saturday! That's right, I'll get my scissors and cut your birthday right out of the calendar!

      • Debra: (about her parents) Their marriage was like a rock. The one solid thing in my life.
Ray: Well, maybe it was more like a stone. And now it has passed.

      • Warren: (to Debra, in response to his and Lois's apparent happiness together) I guess in the end, it was all just a show. And we had had enough.

      • Ray: So I ordered the moonjump for the kids' party. They say you gotta be like under 50 pounds to jump, but screw that--I'm going in!

      • Ray: I'm sorry about your parents.
        Debra: I know.
Ray: But you know...that's not us.

      • Debra: (talking about divorce to Ray) What about us? What if we're headed in that direction? I mean, I keep a lot of stuff bottled up, too.
Ray: No you don't. I drop a sock on the floor, and you scream like a horror movie!
Debra: There's plenty more that I keep inside, believe me.
Ray: There can't be a lot left in there.

      • Lois: Debra, your father and I tried. Really, we did.
Debra: You've never tried anything longer than it's been on a magazine cover!
