Debra persuades Ray to hire Gianni to do some remodeling in their kitchen, but they both soon regret it due to their friend's laziness. His hiring also upsets Frank, who believes he should be allowed to do any handiwork needed around Ray's house.

Frank: I'll see you in court.
Gianni: Is he still mad about me fixing your stove?
Ray: He's still mad that society makes him wear pants.
Ray: Debra's right. You do smell.
Gianni: What do you mean I smell?
Ray: You don't do anything, yet you build up a smell.
Robert: Ray, what were you thinking about recommending Gianni? You know he ripped out our sink and hasn't put it back in? I'm cleaning dishes in the bathtub.
Ray: Good, now you know what a bathtub looks like.
Gianni: Oh, Robert, good news. I talked to the guys and you should have your sink in about a month.
Robert: A month?!
Amy: (she pulls him out of the room) Come on, Robert.
Robert: I just wanna talk to him!
Amy: No, Robert. No!
Robert: Because he's your boyfriend!
Debra: (about Gianni) I guess this just goes to show us that you should never hire a friend.
Ray: Yeah, well, don't worry. He's not my friend anymore.
Debra: I'm still your friend.
Ray: But you're a girl.
Ray: (to Debra, referring to his injured back) You know, I guess this means I'm gonna be out of commission for a little while.
Debra: Don't worry. It's not like Van Gogh lost his paintbrush!
Debra: Gianni, while you're out getting a stove, could you pick up a spine for my husband?
Gianni: Why don't I just get you a new husband? (points to Ray) 'Cause I know this one's leaking gas.
Gianni: Any score, Big Nose?
Ray: Not yet... Ass Nose.
Ray: (yelling up the stairs at Debra) You do so need my say so!
Debra: (about the stove) It has a lot of problems, Frank. I mean, most of the time, I can barely use it.
Marie: Oh, dear, can we really blame the stove?
Gianni: (inspecting the stove) This thing is old.
Ray: (about Debra) Hey, easy, she's standing right there.
(After he overcharged them)
Debra: I should have known when he pulled out that little TV and started guessing the Price is Right. And always OVER!
