In this episode, Robert throws Amy on top of the refrigerator. The actual refrigerator in the scene was lowered 2 inches because actor Brad Garrett (Robert) had a bad back, and also, Monica Horan (Amy) was allegedly heavy to lift.
Reality is suspended as Ray, Debra, Robert, and Amy are in the kitchen, loudly celebrating Frank and Marie's decision to move away. Given that they were all screaming, jumping, hugging and getting excited, it's almost impossible that Frank and Marie--who were right in the next room--didn't hear them.
Debra: I'm just having feelings.
Ray: Well, we all have those, but there's a time to express them, and a time to keep all that crap inside.
Marie: (about the retirement home) There were so many women there who were just like me!
Frank: I know that sounds chilling, but it wasn't that bad!
Debra: (just before Frank and Marie move away) I've spent more time with them than anyone over the last 10 years--because Ray, you go to work, and you guys [Robert and Amy] see them a couple days a week. I've been with them every day--morning, noon, and night.
Robert: That's why you should be dancing around naked in a fountain!
Debra: It's just that I'm always looking for the negative in Marie, and I.....I just shouldn't.
Ray: Oooooh, I get it. Is this one of your......ladies days?
Debra: No, Ray, that's not it!
(Frank leaves but seconds later opens the door again)
Debra: What is it, Frank?
Frank: Nothing. I'm trying to figure out if I should pee first.
Debra: (about Frank and Marie) I'm gonna miss them. They're my family.
Amy: Oh, well, of course! I mean, we all feel that.
Ray: Yeah, yeah, of course... they're like family.
Marie: And the food was delicious!
Frank: Yeah I had a steak so big I almost couldn't finish it... and then I did.
Marie: What this weekend made Frank and me realize is that Ally is old enough to babysit, and Robert, I've finally got you married off. And Debra...I've taught you all I can.
Marie: There's some fruit in the fridge. This house has always had too much fruit.
Monica Horan is now credited in the opening credits.
This episode was included on the Emmy Awards 'For Your Consideration' DVD for the final season.
Notice that from the moment this final 9th season aired, Ray Romano had a different "look" going on with his hair. It seemed flatter and looked much different than in all the previous years of the series.
