  • Ray’s devious advice puts another bump on the rocky road to Robert and Amy's wedding.

    8.5
Ray’s devious advice puts another bump on the rocky road to Robert and Amy's wedding. Ray is a total slacker. He has made a living avoiding his duties around the house and feels obligated to teach Robert the secret of a good marriage. Ray convinces Robert to draft an appalling mock wedding invite to make Amy take care of all the wedding plans herself. Unfortunately, the plan goes terribly wrong and the women learn about Ray’s friendly advice. For Ray, the scam is over. Debra goes all out on Ray. She even goes further when she learns that Ray pulled those tricks on her for years. Ray tries to talk his way out but he is seriously digging his own grave. Marie, Amy and Debra go on the attack on their husbands. I loved the way that Marie keeps an eye on Robert to avoid more mishaps. The episode also opens out evidence that the wives also try to avoid their responsibilities. The episode ends with Amy’s parents receiving the mock invitation and believing that Amy and Robert are now nudists.moreless
  • A bad plan.

    8.9
This episode is one of those typical plan gone wrong episodes. But this is done right. What was funny about the episode was the underlying politics between both sexes. Ray and Frank both felt by sabatoshing the invitation would motivate the women into making the invitations for Robert. But unfortunately it backfires with ugly concequences for the male faction. In the arguement at the end we discover how little both sexes share certain burdens and take each other for granted. And mediatates on marrage could lead to darkness or enlightment.moreless
