Debra and her friend Amy are talking when Robert comes in . He asks Debra for a donation to the police department and she agrees. Amy also donates money, and it's obvious she has an interest in Robert. Ray walks in to ask Robert to fix a light, but Debra pulls Ray out of the room to leave Amy and Robert alone. Amy gives Robert her number and he leaves looking the happiest he's ever been.
Later, Robert stops by to say he and Amy are going on a date, but he wants to get out of it. He feels it's been too long since he's had a date. He also doesn't think he's very attractive. Debra says that he is attractive. She almost lets it slip out that she thinks Robert is the most attractive of the Barone men. This causes Ray to become self-conscious about his looks. Debra tells him that she said it accidentally, but he still feels uncomfortable.
Ray goes to visit Marie. She says that everyone has always said Robert was handsome, while they'd only say Ray was cute. Robert returns from his date with Amy in a good mood. At Ray's house, he returns with a slick hairstyle and a fake tan. Debra can't keep a straight face and compares him to George Hamilton. Debra says she thinks Robert is attractive, but it's Ray that she's attracted to.
