    • TRIVIA (0)

    • QUOTES (5)

      • Iwata: Didn't you hear what he said? We're changing in the locker room! That's 'room' singular- that means we might be able to see Misaki Matsuya naked.
Matsuya: I don't care for the way you used my full name, along with the words 'see' and 'naked'.
        Watanabe: Rest in peace, Iwata.

      • "It's no good. How can I pull the trigger when I can see the innocent sparkle in their cute little eyeballs? Not to mention that my finger's frozen solid."
        Excel goes out hunting.

      • Iwata: I think we should have turned right on that road just now.
Watanabe: Just now? There hasn't been a right turn in hours.
Iwata: Yes there was- we passed it right after lunch, remember?
Watanabe: What? That's not 'just now', you moron, that was two prefectures back!

      • Ilpalazzo: What is it that Across needs the most, Excel?
Excel: Me? Uh, oh, uh, could it be, like money?
Ilpalazzo: No- if you mena the valueless currency that is currently being circulated within the current, corrupt society, then Across needs none of that. What we need- we need resources!

      • [Iwata accidentally bursts into the women's locker room.]
Watanabe: Day One, and it's already going downhill.
        Sumiyoshi: Pretend we're strangers.
        Watanabe: I always do.
[Iwata grabs Watanabe's ankle as he tries to escape from the angry women.]
Iwata: Watanabe, Sumiyoshi, please help me!
Watanabe: Hey, let go of me- you damn stupid stranger who I have never seen before!

      • Today's Experiment...... Failed

      • Misaki Matsuya's Statistics:

        - Gender: Female
        - Age: 22
        - Her personality does not allow flattering and pandering to others
        - A quarter British

        - Family: Parents, younger brother
        - First Person Reference: Atashi
        - Second Person Reference: Anata

      • A Puchuu can be seen with Rikdo at the beginning (it cuts Excel's climbing rope), at the airport, on the 'thawing out' cutaway screen and riding the avlanche down the mountain.

      • Koshi Rikdo gives his permission to turn Excel Saga into a survival drama.

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Excel: Fight on! Something!
Excel is making a reference to TV ads for "Lipobedan D", a power drink sold in Japan. The ads always start with two brawny men stuck in a perilous situation, such as white-water rafting or mountain climbing. One will yell out "Fight-to!" (Fight!) to which the other responds "Ippatsu", which is a kind of shorthand of "We'll have to rough it through this situation with an extra surge of energy".
