Although Maggie claims that she doesn't find Orlando Bloom particularly attractive, she can be seen removing a poster of him from her wall in Series One, Episode Six, when Andy tells her to grow up.
[Andy is getting prepared for the recording of his sitcom]
Agent: Are you definitely going to do it?
Agent: [looks around a corner to Barry who is dressed exactly like Andy's character] Forget it, Barry. He's going to do it, mate.
Agent: I know. I'm as annoyed as you are.
Agent: [Referring to Barry] I love him because he's desperate!
Agent: The thing about Barry, I've noticed, is that people will laugh at him, not with him. It's extraordinary.
Orlando Bloom: Come out for a drink later.
Maggie: Can't. I'm meeting my friend.
Orlando Bloom: Come out for a coffee with me! Come on. Just get to know me, get to know the normal me. Take a better look and, you know, see the attractiveness.
Maggie: I don't think you are.
Orlando Bloom: Liar!
Keith Chegwin: Black people aren't funny.
Andy: Black people are funny Keith.
Keith Chegwin: Name one black person that's funny.
Andy: I can name you loads of black people that are funny - Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy.
Andy: [long pause] Don't change the rules halfway through.
Agent: I'm hearing you, alright, but you know what, this is typical first night nerves. I know what you're thinking, you're thinking "Oh the script's not funny, it's crass, it's lowest common denominator", and you know, you're right. But don't worry about it, because people will watch anything.
(Filming a scene for When the Whistle Blows, Keith Chegwin doesn't seem to understand what he has to say)
Keith Chegwin: My sister buried me today.
Andy: Oh, for fuck's sake! Why would your sister bury you!?
Orlando Bloom: [Referring to Johnny Depp] Willy Wonka? Johnny Wanker!
Andy Millman's fictitious sitcom is titled 'When the Whistle Blows'.
Orlando Bloom: [imitating Johnny Depp] Ooh, I've got scissors for hands.
This is a reference to the Depp film Edward Scissorhands.
