  • With playoff spots still up for grabs, all 4 teams featured tonight played with some serious panache to form two of the best matches in Extreme Dodgeball!

Let me just say the regular season went out with a bang! Despite the Hitmen dominating the first quarter, Bling started to come back in the second and then tie it up in the 3rd. It went this way, it went that way, an excellent way to finish off the regular season. Rush, Clark, and Lang sent the Hitmen a message saying "Don't mess with us in the playoffs", Portis Hershey is still improving from season 2 and should be another formidable force out there, Tami Bahat can still pull 'em in, Mia St. John should go back to boxing, and Justin Leffler, Brian DeCato's replacement for this game, didn't show much, but still more than DeCato did. On the Chicago side, the Breadtruck's can-of-whupa$$ delivery arrived on schedule, KJ Phelps continued to show his all-around excellent skills, Kenneth Hughes is pretty good out there too, Rob Clyde can still kill, Hal Sparks can dodge like crazy, we saw some action from Marie Philman this time around, and Anna "the Vacuum" Bartsch was a pure-hearted warrior out there. After taking a nasty shot on the court, she still hung in there. You rock, Bartsch. I wish both teams luck in the playoffs.

As for the highlights, I'm disappointed the Spoilers couldn't finish their season with a win, but I'm still happy for the Hurlers. Denver's season 2 threesome (Bobby Roe, Danno Kingman, and Spaz Davis) continue to show their ferocity on the court, and Micah Moses is a worthy rookie. On the Spoilers, Strati Hovartos, Kerri Walsh, Adam Ullberg, Jason Caliz, and the other spoilers showed they still have some skills out there, despite what their record may say. They are still fierce competitors nonetheless.moreless
