  • This is a wonderful episode for the entire family (though your kids may want a room makeover). While the parents put their kids first, the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition design team remembers everyone, especially the parents.moreless

This episode is another heartwarming emotional ride of love and caring for your fellow man. While we say corporations and companies are soulless, it is the people putting their time, money, and spirit into this episode who end up giving also to ABC and the production company a soul to remember for all time.

In this episode, we meet the Kibe family who lost their home to fire. Initially living in the city, they moved to an Iowa cattle farm to raise their three boys. Even through the difficult times without a home, after losing their dog, and having to sell off all their livestock the boys are still hopeful and flourishing. Yet, time is against this family as the camper they are renting must go back at the end of the month and they'll have no where to stay.

The local community comes together and in the tradition of farming communities, throughout this great land, has a week long house raising party. Their goal is to have this accomplished in time for the Iowa and Iowa State football game (on September 16, 2006 (fiming occurred 9/11-16/2006). They meet their goal on the house, the calf barn, the garage, and even more.

Oh, check out the wall paper on the business office. All I can say is WOW and very appropriate!

I wish the Kibe Family and the Kibe Family Farms all the best now and in the future!moreless

Again another heartwarming tale where a farm family had a fire just last year. Of all days, Christmas, probably one of the worst Christmases if not the worst one. As the team comes to help them rebuild their house and farm as well as rebuild their lives most of all. One of the kids loves comics and another one loves architect. Very great show once again!
