This was another tear-jerker and heart-warming show. What would these families do without Home Makeover? I hope someone else would have come through for them. In any case, this poor father has four beautiful sick children and in desperation goes to college full time to major in medical research, in addition to his full-time job, so he can help find a cure for his kids. Thank God this show has the money to go in there and tear that unhealthy house down and give them a better environment. I think the Dad will find out that maybe he doesn't have to get a degree after all, maybe he just needed the new house with decent fresh water and good, fresh air. That water "well" in the basement was appalling and was that black mold on the walls?? What are people thinking, living in houses like that, especially when their kids are sick? They must just not know what to do. They were able to get tuition loans, maybe they should have gotten home loans. Well, that's in the past now because Extreme Home Makeover is giving them a new future. I pray for this beautiful family that they are able to grow and prosper and enjoy a healthy life.moreless
