"Superb"

My Brother-In-Law and myself(Cordell II) happened to see this episode on 9/29/2008, one month, to the day, after my son's, his nephew's, death. Cordell III was also an organ donor. His Mother and I took his death quite hard. What has helped us through this is the fact that we opted to have him be an organ donor. We can only hope that the recipients of his organs will come forward, as did the recipient, and her family in this case. It will be mixed emotions as seen on this episode, but it will help us to cope with the loss of our 8yr old son, by knowing part of him still lives on. Wendy & Cordell(mother and father) Mark(half brother) Brittany (sister) and Kyle (Cordell's Twin Brother).

This episode hit me personally hard tonight as we are trying to improve the bedroom for his brothers, and fix up the rest of the house. The only thing is, we are renting, and there is only so much one can do. My mother came over earlier today and helped paint.moreless

"Perfect"

This episode was the MOST heartwrenching episode I have sat through. The mother's despair & pain was too overwhelming for me to watch at times. Even my "Tough Guy" husband cried.

One of the most amazing thing I found with this mother was her extreme joy that so many other lives were saved because of losing her child. In her deepest grief, she was full of pride and rightly so. I felt the whole family felt lost without him, and in a special way, you gave her part of her son back.moreless
