  • Once again WV is portrayed poorly. I think that the Turner family deserved the house, but also I believe that time should have been researching families with much more things against them in life. But I commend the Turners for trying to better themselvesmoreless

I believe ABC does a wonderful job with giving to those who are less fortunate, but what I just watched was very upsetting. I think this episode was just rushed and thrown together for airtime. Every other home that has been done at least recieved a front lawn and a bigger porch that would hold more than one person at a time. I know they will take care of their new home, I just wonder if ABC just felt like WV would just be happy enough to get anything from them. The comment one person added was that the kids touched the walls and said that they wouldn't take care of the home is absurd!! It was probably because they were trying to take off their shoes that were covered in mud.Hello people finish the house inside and outside. The difference that was made was a little too obvious!!moreless

Well, well, well - another family receives the gift of Kenmore appliances and a plasma tv! Whoohooo!

I used to enjoy this show but we are now at the point where this show is just a big commercial and a way to make African American's look silly. Father - Ex drug dealer who went to jail - decided he will instead coach a football team....how does that pay?
Mother - Not sure what she did but she said about 300 times throughout the show that she is close to the "community"
    Son - Football player
    Daughters - Forgettable stories.

SO they lived in a small house and since the father at one time pushed drugs on our streets why not give him the big 'ol prize?

    ugh

When they first go into the house one daughter puts her hand on the new clean wall - this shows how clean this place will be in a few weeks. Then the boys stand in front of the plasma like it is a window to God! I thought Ty would have been able to get this show done by just dropping $2000 on a tv! These people are trash and most of the shows they have are over the top and for people who cannot afford or understand how to maintain such homes. Next week we are off to Las Vegas for a grandfather who has a sick grandson and takes in runaways on his own dime - someone who does some serious good for the community! - perhaps the next one will redeem itself but this weeks episode was terrible and I am just in awe of how tacky the show can be.moreless
