  • Finally somethign being done for a well deserving Native American Family!

Kudos to ABC, the directors and people who made the decision to build this new home for the Yazzie Family in Pinon, AZ. Thanks to Ty and his crew and everyone else who was involved in making this possible. It made my heart jumped to see that despite their remote location, this family was picked for an Extreme Makeover. Many Navjos on the reservation live much the same way the Yazzie family did, so it feels good to see that someone is willing to come in and make a difference and show that Native Americans deserve the same as everyone else. GREAT CHOICE for a Make-Over and I hope to see more like this.......moreless
  • A well-deserved Native American family gets a nice home!

Really nice to see a family get a new home. Especially this Native American family. Who have been going through a lot. As they also need something that will help them conserve the environment. While living comfortably. As Ty and the team come out to help them. As they go on vacation. They get a week to see what they can do. Sometimes even though it is easier said than done. Still, they manage to pull it off. Really nice home to help the parents and children. They all are touching episodes. And that everyone has always have a great story to tell. That the team comes and does that for them.moreless
  • Finally, someone has done something to aid a very deserving Native American family!

I do not normally view Extreme Makeover Home Edition, but when I saw that this episode involved someone finally doing something to assist the very neglected but extremely deserving Native Americans, I just had to watch. I'm so impressed with the Yazzi famly and the young son who did his best to do what he could for his own family. He deserves a college scholarship for his invention to supply his family with heat! I applaud the crew for honoring the Navajo way and also providing energy to the Navajo community. We could all learn a valuable lesson from them.moreless
