O'Reilly: Now, really, Sergeant O'Rourke. I thought you'd be pleased to see a daughter of the old sod doing well.
O'Rourke: The only thing that would please me is to see you buried in that old sod.
Agarn: (about O'Reilly's saloon) One guy was standing 12 hours before he got in.
O'Rourke: Agarn, nobody stands in line twelve hours to get into a saloon.
Agarn: Don't tell me, Sarge. I was standing right behind him.
O'Reilly: Who's Widow Brown?
O'Rourke: Well, she owns this place. Has sixteen children, no husband. He's dead. That's why we call her Widow Brown.
O'Reilly: Good thinking.
O'Rourke: You mean to tell me Clem Witherspoon let me down and really rented her that place?
Agarn: Now, don't blame Clem. O'Reilly's a beautiful woman. He held out as long as he could.
O'Rourke: How long was that?
Agarn: Til she walked through the door.
This episode and season 2 episode "Yellow Bird" both have a common connection to the 1966 series Batman. Lee Meriwether (O'Reilly) played Catwoman in the feature film when original series Catwoman Julie Newmar (Yellow Bird) was unavailable.
