While staying behind on Earth while the others go to race on Planet Ninte, Rick Wheeler learns from a guy behind the counter of the restaurant that tight turns aren't used anymore. He also meets a girl named Lucy Liberty and her friends who are going to see the F-Zero race live. Rick follows them when a motorcycle gang attacks their bus from Earth to Ninte. When Rick tries to stop them, the motorcycle gang flee when the famous bounty hunter Captain Falcon appears. Later on, Rick enters the race which was a surprise to the Mobile Task Force. The race was neck and neck with Rick, Jack, and Captain Falcon when Jack crashes and Captain Falcon wins. In the hospital, Jody learns from Jack that he wasn't trying to prevent Rick from winning, he was trying to prevent Captain Falcon from winning.
