I am loving this series. It has gotten better with each episode. The love triangle between Kate, Justin, and Ben is phenomenal. I loved Justin in season one, and still a little now, but I can't help but be on team Ben now. I love that he is so damaged and that there is still so much to find out about him! Great series.
  • I love legal dramas, but this is so much more!!!!!!!!

For one, she is adorable! Kate has this HUGE smile and personality. She cares about what is right and fair but suffers greatly in her personal life for this. The whole cast is great! Love Leo and the relationship he and Kate share. They are like one person at times. Don't like cheaters, but I have to say that Justin is my favorite character (besides Kate of course). I am really pulling for the two of them, but after the affair bomb, I doubt those are obstacles they can overcome. But that is okay... because Ben pushes all her buttons and soon enough they will realize that they are attracted to each other. He is pretty crazy, but usually has a vision and gets the job done. He was a great addition. Lauren on the other hand... I see that she has some nice qualities under all those tight clothes and hair pins, but I just can't bring myself to get on board with her... She is TOO uptight... With that said, I will eagerly encourage anyone to watch this show!!!!!!!!! LOVE ITmoreless

Loved the show and cant wait till it comes back. I love the fact that she was well spoken but with a little bit of attitude especially when it was to her evil step mother. loveeeeee it.
  • I am really enjoying this tv show. I like the quirky relationship between Kate and Leonardo. There are a lot of cop and law shows out there, but this is the first one that is funny, caring AND we get to see justice of a different sort.moreless

Leonardo shows off his powers as an assistant, friend and brilliance of mind as he helps Justin get the perfect b-day gift for Kate. If only we could all have an assistant and friend like this. Lauren surprises us all by being nice....or is she really being nice? :-) as she takes on a pro-bono case with Kate's boat neighour, Andrew, who is having a little problem with customs.

Kate and the judge played by Gerald McRaney actually get along when he assigns her a case to mediate. A high school football coach is caught on tape shouting at a player before benching him. Parents go up in arms over the abuse and he is suspended. Kate's job is to get the parents and coach talking so they can resolve the issue. Unfortunately there is more than meets the eye to this story.moreless
  • I'll admit, I was prepared to hate this show - I thought it would be the typical beautiful, but super brilliant woman - tops in her field, blah, blah, blah. I was pleasantly surprised when I found myself liking Kate Reed.moreless

Finally - a fresh idea on a new series. I thought mediators worked primarily in labor disputes - and perhaps Kate will do that in later episodes. But the fact that she gave up the practice of law - even while continuing to work in her father's law firm, makes this a unique premise in a show with infinite promise. I admired her compassion, zeal, sense of humor, expertise, and a desire to not quit, until the job was done. I'm enjoying the conflict between her and the "evil stepmom". I like her relationships with her assistant and her ex-husband. This looks like it could be another winner for the USA network - and so far, Kate Reed is definitely a "character."moreless
