Please discuss Friday's episode Start Me Up here. Enjoy!

from USANetwork: Justin asks Kate to negotiate a deal between the FBI and a local hospital. The case seems simple until Kate discovers another patient was bumped from the donor list to accommodate the FBI. Check out the Preview Clip & more.

    Something seemed off...

From everything I've heard, the Donor Transplant List is not hospital-controlled, but nationally controlled, to prevent just the kind of thing alluded to here. IE, some family donating 200k to a hospital or deciding to bump someone for a prisoner. IE, 2 people in the hospital @ the same time waiting for an organ, and one appears nearby, the higher one on the list gets it unless their condition jeopardizes the surgery.

That the most the hospital could do was re-evaluate someone and say their condition should change their position. The reason being, if hospitals could decide then people would just start paying them and thus the rich get the organs while the poor (or middle class) get the shaft.
