Solid episode of Fairly Legal, yet this show wasn't as good as it was when it first started out, I liked the first maybe 3 episodes, but everything after that has just been an entertaining watch and that's pretty much all it's been.

I'll give it one thing, the cases continue to be wildly intriguing even though some tend to be quite predictable like tonight's episode, it was still great to see a case as unusual as this one. Especially the case with the two avatars, that was pretty funny.

Kate's scenes with her ex are kind of wearing me down, as I have said before, I think Kate needs to be single for a while to figure herself out, because she just seems weak and vulnerable when she's around that guy, and that definitely isn't entertaining. Overall solid installment of Fairly Legal.moreless

Well, so much for my theory that the show would get better over time. With the first season over halfway through I have to yet to really enjoy one episode of Fairly Legal. There have been some funny scenes, a few mildly clever storylines, but I keep waiting for the show to get good and keep getting let down. I will stick with it through this season, but whether it is renewed or not, if the quality does not improve I will probably drop it from my viewing schedule. This episode just did nothing for me. Again, they had two interesting cases and I liked Kate's behavior toward the avatars, but come on, the writing on this show is so amateurish. Can't believe this is on USA.moreless

    • Portions of the nude paintings hanging in Kate and Justin's old condo are blurred out.

    • When Brandon and Kate are outside talking near his house, their camera blocking marks are visible on the sidewalk after the camera pans out as Brandon walks away.

: What, and ruin this image of me as a man who's good with his hands?

This is a jokey reference to Richard Dean Anderson's starring role in the television series MacGyver (1985-1992) about an agent who doesn't use weapons but gets out of trouble by improvising tools from ordinary everyday objects.
