  • This ep seemed different. Too different.

    7.0
Maybe it's the spotlighted addition of a new character. Maybe it's the new writers publicised last year. Either way, this ep seemed a bit too unlike Falcon Beach.

Paige not liking somebody in her 1st meet? Yah, that's very Paige. But way too out of character for her to listen to everything this new girl said.

With that, and the plenty scenes at the south beach club (is this a new set they wanted to get their rental's worth for?), it really seemed too different. Almost more 90210-ish.

Unfortunately some of the familiar stuff was boring Erin back to her Wild Party Girls ways.

While the actress aint the greatest, I feel sorry for her as Er-head is written so limited. They seem to write 2 modes for her: Wild off the deep end, or wrought with indecision about something involving Danny. Either way, she's always a bore.

Oh, and Danny needs to stop being her human doormat.

Nice to see Adrian get some more air time, although I'd wanna see more scenes of him and Jason. Speaking of, it was nice to see Jason with a change of wardrobe in the provided jacket.

Early last season, Paige broke up with Jason cause she was too pig-headed to listen (even though he was stubborn too). This time the shoe was completely on the other foot, as it's Jason who pigly breaks with her.

The Lane story was good, and refreshing to see that he's still a human being and needs friends.

A downer after the premier, this ep at least sets up for some interesting aftermaths. Just wish there's less of Paige being brainwashed by Courtney and none of Er-head altogether. :Pmoreless
