It's Tuesday in the Academy and the students are busy practising for Children In Need. But not all the students are happy - Nigel is still fed up with the lack of praise and thanks for his performances. The three students up for a solo on Children In Need (Lemar, Sinead and Ainslie) go to Radio One - listeners to Chris Moyles' show will vote for their favourite. The remaining students joke that they will be lonely without their friends. The biggest treat for the three Grade A students is meeting Chris Moyles - he doesn't make them feel any less nervous, however, when he says "Just remember that the person with the least votes is the person that they like the least!" Once the students return, all ears are turned to Radio One - as Chris will announce the result live on air. The winner is Sinead - with 48% of the vote. She will sing No Doubt's "Don't Speak" on Children In Need on Friday night. She's very surprised, and Ainslie looks slightly disappointed that he didn't win. Malachi is happy for her, but asks Sinead whether anybody asked her about their relationship at Radio One. Sinead winning the vote is a relief for some of the students, as Malachi and Nigel agree that everybody was waiting for Lemar's name to be read out as the winner, and it's good that the competition is still open. The next day, Lemar wakes up not feeling well. It's a disappointment because the students are all going busking for Children In Need at a local shopping centre. A visit from a doctor confirms that he has a throat infection - and will have to be quarantined. But, the show goes on for the others, and 2000 people gather to see them at the shopping mall. Ainslie sings "Keep Me A Secret" to the audience. The crowd chant Lemar's name - it's clear that he's sorely missed. On Thursday morning, the teachers confirm that Nigel will be up for probation on Sunday night. He tries to put a brave face on it, and is comforted by David - who was the other person up for consideration.moreless
