Tuesday in the Fame Academy, and in the students' dance lesson, Kevin decides to wind them up. He says that a new dance craze called "the rabbit" is becoming a hit in nightclubs across the country, and tells the students that they'd better start learning it so they don't look stupid when they come out. After the lesson, Ainslie is delighted to find that one of his fans has sent him some spare underwear through the post. In his vocal lesson with Carrie, Lemar is told that if Richard describes his performance as "uninspiring" this week, that Carrie will "box his ears"! The vocal coach congratulates Lemar on his efforts this week, and Lemar admits that he's finding it more of a challenge on probation. The four remaining students are singing duets as well as survival songs this week - and Richard makes an announcement about their duets at 1pm. David & Lemar and Ainslie & Sinead will be singing their duets live on BBC Choice, and the public will vote for their favourites. The treat is that the winning couple will win a trip to see the Doves in concert. Ainslie is determined to win, and he and David playfully joke about who'll be the winner. The Fame Academy students spend the afternoon rehearsing, and soon the show on BBC Choice is underway. 35,000 calls are made in five minutes - and the winners are Ainslie and Sinead. David and Lemar aren't too happy about the result, and even blame their Music Teacher Jo Noel for giving the other couple her approval on the show. When Sinead and Ainslie return, the latter is in a merry mood after lots of drinking. He tries to pull the Christmas tree down, and starts a food fight with dance teacher Kevin. The dining room is left a mess. The next day, Ainslie is in trouble. The kitchen is in a bad state, and he feels terrible about what he did on the night before. He tries to make amends by hoovering up the corn flakes on the floor, but Richard Park orders him to use a pan and brush. Meanwhile, Kevin is even more worried about what will happen to him! After Ainslie has finished cleaning, Richard wants to see him. He informs Ainslie that he has really aggravated the kitchen staff in the Academy - and his actions even made some of the waitresses cry. Richard says that he thought better of Ainslie, and adds that if he had succeeded in pulling down the Christmas tree, he could have "torched the place". The students go to switch on the Christmas lights at Hampstead - and when they return, there's a surprise in store for them. Ex-students Camilla, Marli, Malachi, Pippa, Katie, Chris and Nigel have returned to the Academy for one night only, in order to celebrate the release of the Fame Academy album. Malachi and Sinead reunite, and Ainslie is more than happy to see the return of his best friend. Marli is doing her best to stir things up in the Academy - and she succeeds. She tells David that he can win, and wants him to. Later, she and Chris order Ainslie to cover up his microphone, and tells him that the best thing for him to do would be to walk out from the Academy if he wants to maintain any respect from the public. Ainslie tells Malachi about this, who orders Ainslie to ignore their advice. "Don't listen to that," Malachi says. "They shouldn't have said that". Some of the students decide to stay overnight, but Chris isn't one of them. He's enjoying life out of the spotlight, although it was good to see everyone. Another couple reunited is Camilla and Lemar. He invites her into the bedroom, where kissing can be heard. They then exit, and join the others.moreless
