What I really like about this episode is that it spotlights a young and talented Erica Gimpel (Coco) who exhibit's a wide range of her acting abilities here. We are also privy to seeing much of the wonderful actor Carmine Caridi (Angelo Martelli) as Bruno's cab-driving father. Furthermore, this episode also marks the first debut appearance of one of "Fame" favorites - Carlo Imperato as Danny - who remains one of the few constants of the show throughout all of its six seasons run. In addition, one of the show's most cherished songs "I Still Believe In Me" can be heard for the first time in this episode as a duet between Debbie Allen and Erica Gimpel. Composers Gary Portnoy and Susan Sheridan wrote the wistfully melodic song, which was released by RCA as part of the compilation for "The Kids From Fame" album.moreless
