Frustrated by their lack of control over the twins' rambunctious behavior, Bill and French interview prospective nannies. Meanwhile, Sissy believes she is suddenly friendless after her pals leave her out of their ski-trip plans.
French, Sissy and the twins have their hands full when Bill's girlfriend leaves her nightmarish children at the apartment for the evening. The hyperactive 6-year-old is uncontrollable and the shy 13-year-old is infatuated with Sissy.

3/6/03Bill grounds Sissy for two weeks after subway security detains her for jumping a turnstile. Things get even worse when she does it again during an emergency and gets picked up by the police again. Also, the twins prepare for a school pageant, but Jody's rehearsals may keep him from making his debut after injuring his foot during rehearsals.moreless
2/27/03Sissy's asked out by a sophomore named Liam (Aaron Carter), but Bill thinks she's too young for one-on-one dating. So Sissy and her friends devise a creative solution to make him change his mind. Sissy learns a lesson though when her date doesn't go as smoothly as intended. Also, Bill and French take the twins out on the town as a reward for high marks on a school assignment.moreless
12/5/02When Uncle Bill's (Gary Cole) plans for a perfect Christmas in New York City for the first time with the kids are thrown into disarray after the kids come down with the flu, he enlists the help of his friend (guest star Johnny Whitaker - the original Jody) to play Santa Claus to surprise the twins (Sasha Pieterse and Jimmy "Jax" Pinchak). Meanwhile, Mr. French (Tim Curry) meets an extremely chatty traveler (guest star Kathy Garver - the original Cissy) while waiting for his flight to England.moreless
11/14/02Sissy's romantic imagination gets the best of her when she follows Mr. French on his afternoon off and observes a liaison between him and a mysterious woman (guest star Charlotte Cornwell, "Rock Follies").
11/7/02When business trip overrules Bill's commitment to help out in Buffy and Jody's classroom for the week, Mr. French is recruited to take his place and be the room parent in Buffy and Jody's classroom. However, the classically educated butler is not an ideal fit for the progressive school, as he learns a valuable lesson in honesty. Meanwhile, Sissy decides she needs a weekly allowance.moreless
10/31/02As Halloween nears, Uncle Bill and Mr. French (Tim Curry) plan a special trick-or-treat expedition when they realize that Halloween in New York City doesn't compare to the small-town holiday Buffy and Jody are used to. 10/17/02When Sissy lands the lead role in her school's play, she's disappointed to learn that her uncle's persuasion may have had something to do with it. Initially hoping for a leading role in her school play, Sissy is crestfallen when she is instead given a bit part later on. Mr. French intercedes when Sissy declares that she's dropping out of the performance. Meanwhile, Bill volunteers to design the sets for the production. Back at the apartment, the twins become convinced that there are people living at the bottom of their trash chute.moreless
10/10/02Uncle Bill enrolls Sissy in his social club's manners and etiquette program for young ladies, but when she rebels against the boring class, Mr. French takes over as her etiquette tutor so that Bill won't be disappointed in his niece.
10/3/02Sissy gets in trouble when she neglects to tell Bill and French that her friend Sutton's shindig is an unsupervised underwear-only party. Meanwhile, the twins get their new bunk beds which causes a lot of havoc for the family as it makes too much noise.
9/26/02When Mr. French accidentally knocks Buffy's beloved doll Mrs. Beasley off the terrace balcony, he goes to great lengths to find her or a replacement before Buffy discovers her loss. Meanwhile, Uncle Bill shows his warmth by offering Buffy his own childhood teddy bear.
9/19/02French picks out an absurdly difficult private academy for Buffy and Jody to attend, complete with a snooty, money-grubbing headmistress (Jane Carr). Later on, Uncle Bill decides that Buffy and Jody should be home-schooled by Mr. French when they don't quite fit in at the elite private school where he's enrolled them. Meanwhile, Sissy has a run-in with a rude peer (Skyler Shane) at her new performing-arts high school.moreless
