  • Bill spends a lot of time with an old girlfriend. Cissy's friend Sharon convinces Cissy that this girlfriend will marry Bill and send the kids away because that is what happens to her. Cissy even convinces the twins that their home with Bill isn't secure.moreless

I love this episode because it so realistic. Of course these children will feel insecure about their home with Bill. He was a swinging bachelor before they came and now he has this wonderful woman in his life who he appears to adore. Children always feel threatened when a single parent brings a new person into the family. They don't want to share their parent's love with anyone. I love the scene between Uncle Bill and Cissy. First of all he is mad at her because she has upset the twins and insulted by the fact that she would think he would ever send them away. But then he caves when she weeps uncontrollably in his arms. It is the scenes like this one that make me love this show.moreless
