This is an episode which really shows Bills paternal side. Freddie (the old girlfriend) is drawn to this side of Bill and ofcourse falls in love with the children because that is what she is lacking in her life. The subplot is Cissy taking on a babysitting job. Uncle Bill doesn't like the idea of Cissy working and is even willing to increase her allowance to stop her but she is determined to earn her own money so he caves. I really like the relationship between Bill and Cissy. He is loving but at the same time is worried about having a teenager and the trouble she can get into. This was evident in the second episode when he tries to send Cissy back to Terre Haute. He says "A teenage girl is another matter entirely" referring to the fact that he didn't think he could handle it. When Cissy isn't home by 2:00 am and ends up being escorted home by a police office on a curfew charge, Bill loses it and tells her she will never baby sit again and sends her to her room. He is so angry he doesn't even let her speak. In the end he lets her babysit the twins to earn money.moreless
