  • Cissy gives Uncle Bill a hand knit tie. Buffy and Jody decide they need to give him a gift too but can't think of anything. In the end they give him an old handsome cab horse.moreless

    The kids are really cute in this episode but that's about the only part I liked in it. The idea of the kids wanting to give Uncle Bill a gift is a good one. By why didn't Mr. French pursuade them to make something like Cissy did instead of suggesting they get a gift certificate. The scene where the kids are watching Uncle Bill in order to get ideas for a gift is also cute although I thought Bill was rather facetious when Buffy told him he broke his key ring and he said "Thanks I wouldn't have noticed." I found the character of Mr. McGovern annoying and unbelievable. Would he really sell the horse that cheap and without making sure the horse would have a comfortable place to stay? Not the best episode but it was cute.moreless
