Jake felt a lot better after he'd spent the night with Lucy, he even left the flat for the first time since he left prison. Jake worked a shift in the pub and got into a fight with Brendan when a drink was spilt on Becky. Brendan called Jake a murderer and Jake told him that he'd already killed two people and that another one wouldn't make a difference. Lucy dragged Jake away from the fight. Later, Lucy goes round to see Jake but he doesn't want to see her. She convinces him to let her stay and them start to talk about what it was like for Jake in prison. Jake is afraid to return. Lucy tells him that she will always be there for him and lets slip that she loves him. She gets up to leave but Jake keeps her back and they kiss. As Barbara left, she was coming around to Tanya and Sean having a baby in a less conventional way but as she was going through the door, the phone rings. Tanya lets the answer machine get it but she and Babs hear that it's Nick. Babs is worried that Tanya is doing the wrong thing. Tanya and Sean are still confident they're not. Later, Tanya cancels dinner plans with Nick to stay home with Sean she cooks him dinner but he persuades her to go to Nick's place. He tells her that he shouldn't let her mother get to her. Marc defended Justin to Kelly and kept the baby a secret from Doug who's getting suspicious and says that he'll find out what's going on soon enough. Kelly goes to see Benji and tells him she's sorry that she can't come to Leeds with him but her parents won't let her. He doesn't believe that she's even asked her parents. He leaves early so Kelly goes to the Swan and gets drunk with Brendan and Becky. The Mackenzie's run into them, Justin pulls Kelly to one side and tells her that she shouldn't really be drinking she asks what does he care? Lucy's thrilled to learn that Pete and Eileen are getting married; but Pete's not so thrilled. He gets worried that Eileen's only marrying him for his money when she starts joking around with Cat and Chrissy about elaborate venues for the wedding. Eileen gets upset that Pete doesn't trust her and rushes out to get a pre-nuptial agreement so that she can't take any of his money. He tells her that they don't need one and that he trusts her. He plans to ring the registry office first thing in the morning and book their wedding. With both of them happy, Pete heads downstairs into the pub while Eileen "freshens up". She tares up the pre-nuptial agreement and says: "Gotcha! "moreless
