Drama focusing on a family building business. Jamie Foreman is Marky, a self-employed builder, all-round diamond geezer and head of the Brooker clan. At first, everything seems perfect. The Brookers have moved to a new home, granny and grandad are ensconced upstairs, and everyone assembles for a great big family meal. But young James Brooker, the Oxford University-bound son, is absent; Marky's self-involved, single-parent sister turns up uninvited, and the Brookers' daughter is obviously a troubled young woman. A fairly ponderous, and occasionally pretentious, look at a fractured family from writer Tony Grounds (Births, Marriages and Deaths; Our Boy). RATINGS This Premier Episode Performed Poorly With Only 3.2 Million Viewers At Prime Time But Was Beaten By ITV1'S Footballers Wives Which Had 6.3 Millionmoreless
