      At the vet's office, Brian meets a female show dog named Ellie. Smitten with her, he enters a show dog competition in which the winner gets to breed with her. Meanwhile, Peter and Lois go to extreme measures to try to convince Chris that "Arthur Valentine" doesn't exist.

      In an attempt to become more popular, Meg Griffin decides to take up drinking alcohol. The tactic works, and it instantly makes her the life of her school, but it also makes things socially awkward for her around her house. Lois tells Peter to fix it, since it was his suggestion for Meg to go to the party that got her hooked on alcohol in the first place! But Peter only ends up making the problem worse, and both Meg and Peter wind up stranded on a boat in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, with no idea as to how they got there, and no way to call anybody for help while they are out there! Meanwhile, Brian is stuck in his apartment with a broken leg, and he suspects the local school principal is guilty of murdering his own wife!
