SurprisedWas this on the DVD? Well I'm certainly glad they deleted it! I kind of like that episode but now I'll always think of this when I watch it.

I love the fact that "deleted scenes" aren't truly deleted.

Why are you defending such degenerating actions of a good character, especially when she...

    131. She vent he anger on Chris when Peter and Brian ran off from family game night.
    132. She put off family game night instead of doing it with the kids because she considers Peter and Brian the fun ones. (Basically she just kinda stated Peter's hatred of being with the kids in a different way)
    133. She told Brian that he is not Peter's "buddy" but his property in a very cold and cynical manner, almost in a way to say that is more of Peter's dog rather than the family's. I find that odd considering this the first time in a LONG time since Brian was part of Peter's buddies, not to mention contradicts what she learned when Stewie faked Brian's death. I would say that she was mad at him for leaving game night too, but she doesn't address it like she did with Peter, would say that Brian says he is mature but is just a big a lout like Peter.

    134. When Meg clears her throat and Peter says he's glad she didn't have anything to say, Lois doesn't even defend her. 135. Lois's behavior makes it seem like she doesn't want to be a homemaker anymore...but she doesn't seem interested in fully committing to anything outside of the house, either.

I guess I just really hate children. They are to be seen, not heard. If anything, those kids need to smacked around a bit. Especially Meg when was trying to date that convict.

I'm sure she enjoys a good spanking; some BDSM.

But no, those kids are out of control & need a taste of Belt Justice, or maybe a visit from laptop shootin' father Tommy Jordan.

Perhaps it's because I'm childfree (no desire to have children at any given point in my life), butI partially agree with this. Chrishas been getting more disrespectful and makes no effort to clean himself up. Icredit some of this to Peter and Lois being neglectful, butChris shouldstillknow something about personal hygiene athis age!And Meg's little stunt with Quagmire was inappropriate, despite the fact that it was legal. First pining overa married man and then a pervert in his 40's, Meg is starting to be portrayed in an unflattering light, and that is not justLois's fault. Meg is still perfectly old enough to understand that what she did in those cases was wrong.Yes the parents areterribleandare both oblivious and uncaring about that fact, but that doesn't excuse some of the things these kids have done. I'm pretty sure that if Steve on AD started acting as disrespectful as Chris does, Stan would not hesitate to deal with the matter before it got out of control.

You DO know Lois was in jail before... until she was broken out and gave Joe a ultimatum of falling to his death or letting her go.

Yeah, so? Lois is still the adult & the parent, and still needs to discipline those kids. Like any parent is perfect. I'm sure most have smoked pot, stolen stuff, cheated on their taxes, destroyed or vandalized public property, had an emotional affair or two, and yes, probably got arrested when they were young. If there's any perk to being a parent, is you get to be a boss & jerk your kids around.

I too am childfree (and I am thankful every single day for it & will never, ever have children) I just have a very low tolerance for teenager insolence, trends & disrespectful ill-mannered poorly parented ingrates. Tho I can personally tell you that when I was a teenager, I can attest that I was smelly, greasy, pimply and not the most perfectly hygienic dude (it's not that I didn't bathe, it's just we're disgusting & stupid as hell at that age). But yeah, Peter & Lois did a terrible job for not instilling some morals or at the very least, some common sense boundaries - yet she still smarts off and screams at them for being bad parents like a hypocrite. She's still responsible for her own actions and yes, she should know better.

Yeah, but Lois has done ALL of that within... whatever pasts as time in the universe, in which Meg gets older but Stewie is still 1 and Christmas seems happen with no one getting older each year.

^While I understand that Lois isn't exactly Mrs. Morality, that doesn't mean she can't discipline her children. Sure, Lois has done all of those things you mentioned in a short span of time, but kids need to do as they're TOLD, not always what they SEE. A good parent wouldn't let Meg or Chris act wild just because she does, Lois should tell them why they SHOULDN'T do those things and use her own experiences as examples. She may sound like a hypocrite that way, but it's better than deciding "Well, I was used to shoplift, so I'll let my kids steal because I don't want to sound like a hypocrite!" Parenting doesn't work that way. Lois needs to use her recent experiences to tell the kids what NOT to do as an adult....and the kids are old enough to know better, anyway!

Chris and Peter did that, too, which really made me mad.
